How much are JustTip terminals?
Our device rental fee is €45 a month, with a 5% transaction fee.
How do I add my team?
Log in to your Business Dashboard and go to the ‘My Team’ tab. From there you can invite staff individually by entering their name and email address, or import your whole team at once using a CSV file. Each team member will receive an email invite prompting them to create their JustTip account.
Do I need separate accounts for separate venues?
No, with JustTip you can manage multiple venues with one login. Simply log in to your JustTip dashboard and click ‘add business’ in the top right corner to add another location to your account.
How long does it take to set up
You can create your account and add your team in under 10 minutes. Once you’ve placed your device order, your JustTip terminal will arrive within a few business days, ready to use straight out of the box.
How do staff receive their tips
Tips are processed every Wednesday and paid directly to each staff member’s bank account via standard bank transfer. There’s no cash handling and no manual work, staff just need to complete their JustTip account setup after receiving their invite.
Does JustTip integrate with my existing POS?
Yes. JustTip integrates with a wide range of EPOS systems. Our team can advise on the best setup for your system during onboarding.
Is there a minimum contract or commitment?
No long-term contract is required. JustTip operates on a simple monthly rental with no lock-in. You can cancel at any time.
What is the Tips and Gratuities Act 2022?
The Payment of Wages (Tips and Gratuities) Act 2022 is Irish legislation requiring all tips and service charges to be distributed fairly to employees — employers cannot retain them. Non-compliance can result in WRC investigations and fines of up to €2,500. JustTip is built around these requirements, keeping you compliant from day one.
How does tip splitting work?
JustTip offers four splitting options you can set in your dashboard. Daily Basic splits tips equally among staff who worked that day. Daily Complex splits by hours worked each day. Weekly splits the week’s total proportionally by hours worked. Direct Allocation lets you manually assign amounts to individual staff members, useful if you have a custom arrangement. Payouts go out every Wednesday.
